Global Wind Group Inc. (GWG) is a Winnipeg, Manitoba based Clean Technology start up located in SmartPark at the University of Manitoba. GWG designs, and sells vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) technology. Global Wind Group’s value proposition is to bring the customer dependable, clean wind energy at the best possible price.
GWG has designed and is currently prototyping a new and innovative wind energy product under the brand name “ZüS™ Modular Power System”, patents pending. The ZüS™ Modular Power System is a stand alone source of energy for use where grid-tied energy is either unavailable or costly. A solution to the customers energy needs, the ZüS™ has been designed to function as an energy platform to which a variety of accessories are mounted, including street lights, wireless cameras, and telecommunications hardware.
Due to the rapidly growing demand for the ZüS™ Modular Power System, we have an immediate opportunity for territory Account Executive to join our growing team at Global Wind Group Inc., on a salary + commission + bonus compensation basis.
The successful candidates will be responsible for acquiring and managing technical sales activity with a variety of distributor accounts within the territory, including the effective and proactive communication of the ZüS™ Modular Power System value proposition across all departments and management levels at each account.
To be considered for this exciting and rewarding opportunity, candidates must have:
·Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or similar)
·1+ years of professional experience, preferably in a technical sales environment
·Ability to manage 50% travel within the given territory
·Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
Ideal candidates will also possess:
·Experience in direct sales or technical support
·Demonstrated exceptional relationship building skills combined with a professional approach
·Documented success in new business development to selected target accounts plus the ability to grow existing large account relationships via new applications and solutions
·Experience with engineering analysis and computer aided design software
·Experience with high level presentation techniques
